Transforming handmade Japanese paper into digital textures, Catherine Morelli creates digital images that transcend the sublime.

A graduate of OCAD University with a BFA in Drawing and Painting, she was awarded the Woman’s Art Association of Hamilton Scholarship.  

'Catherine Morelli's art takes handmade Japanese papers and transforms them into digital textures. Her works view finer details resembling the complexities of human biology and offers an interesting perspective in a digital world.
